Tonight, I heard more things from someone’s mouth who I truly care about. It never ceases to amaze me that someone I love so dearly could be so ignorant. “I already have insurance, so it does not matter.”
“The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”
I have to be thankful that I refuse to stick my head in the sand, to be complicit.
Often I find quotes that I find very meaningful, not only as they relate to my occupation, but to life in general. I look forward to sharing them with you! This one seems very appropriate today:
“Nothing worthwhile comes easily. Work, continuous work and hard work, is the only way to accomplish results that last.”
The decline of the work ethic, introduction of the welfare state lead us here.
Too many people base their decisions on the “What’s in it for me?” vs. making decisions based on higher levels.
We have become a society of instant gratification, less elbow grease and with too many with their hand out instead of their sleeves pushed up.
Until next time!
